Our friendly neighbourhood possum enters
the 'demilitarized zone' - both our neighbours have dogs which like to
play rough with possums. Our backyard has become home to at least 4 of
these critters at least part time. They seem to be trying to live in the
roller door for the garage - which proves challenging when Simon open
and closes the door three times a day.
We occasionally give the possums some bits of vegetable or fruit. This one in particular isn't going to die of hunger any time soon. He looks like a bit of a fatty. Just sat there happily about 40cms away from me and my camera and munched on his apple. I think we have to give this guy LESS food - that bit of apple is as big as his head.
