Johnson & Johnson - Splenda
"Customer Service that was SWEET"

| Where | Bought Splenda somewhere.. and connected Johnson & Johnson on the internet |
My first time... - At one stage I was trying out this Atkins diet. It worked really well for my sister and she has lost lots of weight. I don't know if I'd really recommend it, I found I missed pasta, rice, cereal and stuff too much.. but the diet did make me realise DIET food is full of sugar and some other interesting things. I gave it a go for a few weeks and realised the HUGE amount of sugar I normally eat and so decided to see what sweetener tasted like. So I'm in the office - I decided that I'd at least try not to gorge myself on sugar during the day and had Splenda at work to sweeten the caffine that drives all good IT work. So I want a little Splenda tablet and I'm finding it hard to get it out of the packet... I dunno.. I'm not fat.. but I don't REALLY want everyone to hear me desperately shaking the plastic packet to get a 'fake' sugar hit, I'm not used to this stuff and well.. damn it when is this tablet going to fall out - you get the picture... eventually I can get some sucralose but I just felt like it was harder than it should have been, things weren't too busy at work, so I jumped onto the net and.. well.. ranted to the Splenda people. My letter I have a small plastic container of Splenda.. good stuff. Tastes pretty good, isn't full of calories - now for my rant... The hole on the small container (k1231) is just too small.. You have to shake the container repeatedly to get a single 'pellet' to come out. I feel like a lab rat trying to get at it's sweet treat.. if you just made the hole a bit bigger, I could get at my Splenda without making annoying maracas noises in the office... I told my sister I found it annoying (can you tell I don't have many BIG problems at the moment) and she agreed. So out of the ONE person I surveyed - they ALL AGREED with me. That's the sort of statistic that fills our afternoon television current affairs shows.. but seriously (well kind of) make the whole bigger.. and world peace will surely follow... Yours sincerely Steven Main BTW - your site ASSUMES I'm an American, despite my unholy worship of television produced by America I still maintain my nationality. And then... Due to the slight sarcasm in my letter.. I didn't really expect to get a response. But not only did I get an email saying that they were forwarding my mail to the Australian office but eventually in the mail I got a free packet of Splenda, WITH A LARGER HOLE (pictured above), a letter thanking me for my feedback (see on left) AND recipes for tasty Splenda based treats. I had finally found a big corporate that knew how to make a frustrated office worker smile! Thank you Johnson & Johnson - you definitely deserve a good write up! |
